The Tees Valley Innovation Accelerator (TIA) has been helping businesses across the Tees Valley area to make their innovations a commercial success, and you could take advantage of this free initiative too.
Open to any Tees Valley business with fewer than 250 employees innovating to create new products, processes or services, TIA’s experts from industry and academia can help you secure funding, improve your business plans and manufacturing procedures, and even provide technological assistance and prototyping services.
This collaborative project between 大发888app下载-大发888app下载v8.8.8经典版--apple app store-大发集团有限公司排行榜 and Teesside University has already helped Tees Valley businesses working in areas including construction, electronics, software and artificial intelligence, oil and gas, renewable energy, the marine sector, medical devices, environmental regeneration and waste disposal, clinical research, satellite technology, pharmaceuticals, and fabric technologies.
Of course, the past months have been difficult for many businesses, but there is still time to work with TIA and secure funding, progress your business practices, and turn concepts into market ready, viable products.
The Tees Valley Innovation Accelerator (TIA) is funded by the European Regional Development Fund in the Northern Powerhouse Region, which aims to stimulate economic development by investing in projects that support innovation and businesses to create jobs and regenerate local communities. As well as a total of over £1.5 billion of funding from the ERDF, the Government has pledged £3.4 billion in three growth deals to the Northern Powerhouse to address the productivity gap in the north and ensure a stronger, more sustainable economy for all parts of the UK.
The experts at TIA are keen to help meet the development goals of the ERDF and the Northern Powerhouse, while ensuring any eligible businesses benefit from the free assistance they can offer.
You can find out more about the TIA, including some of the businesses they are already working with, at the dedicated TIA website.
